This regatta is arguably the best known on the Caribbean circuit. The last time we entered in 2007 with a group of individuals aboard we achieved 3rd overall in our division. Help us to better this result in 2010.

A redesigned website, free online registration and instantly available race
results are some of the new features of the 2010 St. Croix Yacht Club Hospice
Regatta, according to Julie San Martin, regatta director. The annual party with
international racing is scheduled for February 19-21, 2010, at the club in
Teague Bay.
“Skippers and crews of keelboats,
cruisers, Optimists and multi-hulls should find the improvements to their
liking,” she said, “and regatta management will be better able to put on a good
race.” The web address remains, www.stcroixregatta.com. “Sponsors will like the direct
links to their websites, too,” San Martin added, “Visitors can access the sites
by clicking on a logo for more information.”
The web designer, Luiz Kahl of Interactive Creations, used visually appealing graphics, organizational
tabs, and links to island resources, regatta sponsors and racing management
functions to make the user experience functional and easy. Past results, photos
from the 2009 regatta, extensive information about hospice services and
sponsorship opportunities, and access to online race management and information
are also just a click away.
Am interested in crewing for this year's Antigua Sailing Week, will be happy to provide expenses. Please e-mail for additional information. I've been sailing on the Chesapeake for about 20 years and want to try out the Carribean. Cheers -
I have a new Beneteau Oceanic 50 entered for the Heineken with a professional skipper, that is for rent, either the whole boat, or indivdual places, the emphasis will be on "fun cruising sailing" rather than "hardcore racing sailing", so if anyone is interested let me know

Every year we feel the excitement building for the Regatta. Many return to the Regatta for a repeated year, others join our Regatta for the first time and will enjoy the competition, surroundings, cultures and company of other sailors. Once you have tasted this Regatta you want to come back for more. Sailing between 4 different islands the courses varies from year to year.
This year the courses will go from St. Martin to St. Barths, St. Kitts, St. Eustatius and back. All in 5 days, 6 races. Every night you sleep in another harbour or bay. Enjoy the sights, sound, tastes and feel the buzz on the islands.
Some boats still need crew. Mail us and maybe we can help you find crew or a boat for the Golden Rock Regatta 2008.

GoCrew is a forum created to connect sailors and support regattas.
I want to facilitate the communication between crew, captains and boat owners well before the actual event.
And since racing is exhausting (I am not talking about the parties surrounding the regattas!), I added a second forum for you to find or offer a bed, room, cabin or bunk!
I hope that you will find this website useful. With time we will progressively add new features to this platform. If you think of tools that could be useful, don't hesitate to comment and propose them here, on my blog!
