Have some room onboard?

Hi there skipper,

I'm a 26 years old (gezellige) Dutchman with little sailing experience but I'm also quick learner and take orders very well. Try me out as fore deck/ balast and you will not be disappointed. You don't have to worry about me sleeping onboard because I'm staying with friends on St. Maarten (Point Blanche).

If you have some room left onboard or need an extra hand, then please call me.

Thanks,

Looking for Experienced Crew

We have chartered a Farr 40 O/D for the regatta and are in need of 3-4 people. I especially could use an experienced bowman, however we will require up to 4 more people. I have responded to some of the ads here already. I appreciate the fact that you are a helmsman or tactician, however the likelihood of those spots opening up is pretty much nil! We will have a gentleman on board who works with the charter company and the charterer who will be driving. I am a private professional sailor and coach and will most likely calling tactics. We are a very low key group, and I don't expect ANY yelling or screaming or anything of that sort. Lunches will be provided, but you have to get there and put yourself up. I may have hotel rooms to share with some of the other crew and will work to make that happen if need be. The charterer owns a J/105 in San Francisco Bay. Please feel free to mail me with any questions so, we can get this shored up quickly. Thanks,
Travis

Looking for cling-on position

I'll be in SXM for the regatta, and realize this probably isn't the forum to post this, but anything is worth a try. I'm looking to ride a long with a team that will be racing. I don't have any experience sailing, but have been coming to this regatta for many years and maybe there's a team that wouldnt mind someone riding along for the experience. Ill be on the island 3/4-3/16. 30 years old, 5-9 165. in shape, easy-going, and quick learner if there are any positions open that would fit that category. Thanks... hope to hear back from someone! Very motivated crew for a good boat

Hello,I'm french sailor living in Montréal Canada. I'm 32 in really great shape 170lbs. I have spare time this winter so I want to race as much as I can. I've been sailing since I was 7 yo on ponant (dinghy), laser, Surprise and Étape 23. Last summer I join a First 42S7 's crew on Champlain lake as a genoa trimmer and spinnaker trimmer and I really enjoyed it. I'm a mature dynamic team player.

Places available for Heineken St Maarten 5th - 7th March

We are chartering a Sunsail 36i Premier to race in the Bareboat charter, non-spinnaker class in St Maarten. We couldn’t raise the funds for a racer this time. There are six of us travelling over from the UK and although we will be in the non-spinnaker class we will be racing as hard as any crew. We have raced in Caribbean regattas with class wins in the Racing division in Grenada (1st for two years and 2nd in our 3rd year) and 1st in the non-spinnaker racing division in St Thomas. We have the crewing positions covered in St Maarten by the six of us who are sharing the charter costs. We are now looking for keen crew, with their own shoreside accommodation, who would be happy to provide their weight on the rail up-wind and join us for the fun of the regatta. So a position suitable for those without racing experience and for the expert racers who are happy to join us for the ride. We would also value experienced tacticians and navigators. For day sailors we will only be looking for costs to cover their food & drink on-board. We will be racing 5th – 7th March incl. We sail for the fun of it, as hard and competitively as we are able, but not to the point of it becoming unpleasant. We are proud to have a very happy crew.

Review Heineken Regatta Night time parties

Dear everyone,
I work at Heineken / ILTT as the new marketing intern. I would be very interested in receiving a review from someone who has been to the Heineken Regatta before and has experienced the night time parties (preferably last year). It would be fantastic to hear how you experienced the parties from a sailors perspective. The best review will get the honor of being posted on the official Regatta website.
However, all reviews are welcome and can probably be used as well. Other than that I'm sure everyone at Heineken would enjoy reading the reviews never the less :).
Kind regards,
Nikki Balsem
Marketing Intern
