My name is Jack Gordon and I am contacting you to offer my services as racing or delivery crew.

Sailing is my passion. I am very
fortunate to have the ability, time and flexibility to
pursue this interest at the relatively young age of 48. I have been
sailing for
over 35 years.  I hold a USCG Master Captain License with Towing and
Sailing certifications. I am fit, in excellent health (5’9” / 160 lbs.)
and have a friendly and pleasant personality. I have sailed
extensively throughout the Virgin Islands, West Indies, Grenadines,
Abacos, Great Lakes and the ICW. During the winters I spend a few weeks delivering new sailboats for St Barts Yachts from the East Coast to the Caribbean.  In
addition, I have made several private deliveries of both sail and power yachts
throughout the Great Lakes, East Coast, Caribbean and Central
America. Attached is my small vessel résumé.

I grew up on Lake Erie in Fairview, PA racing a wide variety of
sailboats from Hobie Cats to J-boats ranging from 22’s to 160’s to large
cruising yachts. I was the foredeck man on “Dr. Zook” a Merit 25 during the
MORC International Regatta hosted at Erie Yacht Club. I have owned numerous
boats including J’ Boats, S2 7.9 GS, Sea Ray 330, Laguna Sportfish, Sundancer
260, Yachtline 410, Wave Runners, Hobie Cats, Lightings, Water ski boats etc…

I have had a successful professional career full of many accomplishments and
diverse experiences. I have also offered a considerable amount of time to local
Clubs, Hospitals and Organizations serving on boards and committees. Recently I
have finished my term as the President of The Kahkwa Country Club and resigned
from my Treasury position of Manchester Heights Association. While I am still
involved in niche real-estate development, I am always anxious and available to
get on the water racing and making deliveries. My professional résumé is also
