chartering in the Caribbean for twenty years.  I am a US Merchant
Marine with a degree in Marine Engineering and have recently completed
the USCG offshore 100T Captains License course with sailing endorsement.

My Wife and I are looking for a boat for Antigua week, we have accommodation near the Habour and will be there from the 16th April. 

 I've raced mostly on 40.7's in the following regattas

2009 Cowes Week 2nd (1st on the water, beaten in protest room)

2008 Round the Island Race 

2008 Cork Week 1st (9/9 races)

2007 Fastnet retired whilst in 1st place

I'd prefer to be on a competitive boat, but happy with a social one as well. 

I've been in all positions, but raced mostly as trimmers. I have RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Qualification and was Navigator in Fastnet. 

My Wife has race experience in some positions, knows her way around a boat, but is happy as ballast as well.

I'm willing to fly in and am looking for a crew position for Antigua Race Week - ideally in the racing division. I'm 5'11", 150 lbs and fit. I co-own a C&C 29 and race and cruise out of RCYC in Toronto, Canada. I have over 10 years' experience racing C&C 29 as well as experience with racing and cruising shark, J24, sonar, CS 30, J105.  Past roles include helm, sail trim, tactics so I'm comfortable in a variety of roles.
