I live in Vancouver, BC Canada and will make the trip to St Barts just to do the ragatta so that shows you how keen I am.
I am 47 years old, super fit and light on my feet if I may say...Have owned and crewed on boats from; HC 18, J boats, Beneteau 40 to Davidson 72". Offshore & lots of coastal race experience (over 20 years). Can help with any positions (trim, drive, navigate, pit, help with tactic...etc.) It's about what you need.
With my current work schedule, I may be able to help with delivery and/or preparation as well.
If you need cook plus crew we are two experience Chef's planning to visit St. Barth for the reggatta. We are available to cook and work on deck if necessary. Interested on experience the whole regatta. Two Sous Chef of a large resort in St. Kitts well experience on gourmet and banquets service.
Hello,I'm french sailor living in Montréal Canada. I'm 32 in really great shape 170lbs. I have spare time this winter so I want to race as much as I can. I've been sailing since I was 7 yo on ponant (dinghy), laser, Surprise and Étape 23. Last summer I join a First 42S7 's crew on Champlain lake as a genoa trimmer and spinnaker trimmer and I really enjoyed it. I'm a mature dynamic team player.
Already part of a very competitive team for Key West, looking to join a solid program for one or more (as many as possible) of the other southern regattas this winter. ISAF Cat 1 with recent proven success locally, nationally and internationally on the East Coast and Caribbean. Have sailed competitively in One Design (primarily Swan 42, J105, Sonar, J24), PHRF and IRC. Most experience with Bow (both sprit and pole) and Mast, though also very comfortable with trim and tactics. Motivated to make the whole tour and beyond with the right group. Like to work hard, do well and have fun. 5'8, 170 lbs. Please email me at benpowersvt@gmail.com for full sailing resume or call 802 734 0590. Thanks!
