We are a couple of experienced sailors presently cruising in the Windward islands. Before cruising (B.C.?) we raced for ten years in club at international events around the Med. We took line honours in the 2009 Rodos Cup (Greece) on our own Dufour Performance 40. In 2008 we finished in the middle of the fleet at the Malta Rolex. We are heading north towards Antigua and St Maarten where we can definitely be in time for the Heineken Cup. We would love to get into the action.

I am a very experienced racer from Halifax, Nova Scotia: 25years old, 177lbs.  I haveexperience in many classes: J22, J24, J44, Farr 30, Farr 11S among others.  I have solid offshore racingexperience, having completed 3 Marblehead to Halifax Races, and 2 Newport toBermuda Races, including offshore deliveries. 

My favored position around the buoys is trimmer—usually jiband/or spin.  However, I haveexperience on the bow of a Farr 30, and a Farr 11S (Large A-sail, with a cantingkeel and daggers). 

I would be willing to race hard in St. Maarten if it was apriority for the team, but would also be happy to take it really easy. Let meknow if you want someone you can trust to know what they’re doing—while havinga good time at a legendary event.
