PICK ME!!!

Hi there! I can't wait to be a part of the regatta this year! Please read my profile and I look forward to hearing from you soon! I am a very fit, very fun female, with years of experience. I currently skipper a racing team in Canada. We won 2 of the last 3 seasons. Good luck to all! Marisha

Old Salt Available

After four years with the race committee I am going to race this
year.  I best can be used by a crew new
to the Heineken.  Besides having 40 years
of one design experience, I have been around the island many times and I would
be very helpful navigating around the island.
I am also very familiar with the island’s attractions and I have my own
chauffer.    You won’t have to put me up,
feed me nor sleep with me.  Being out on
the azure waters of Sint Maarten with a good gang will be enough.  I am equal opportunity navigator, Europeans welcome.

Individual Crew places on 'Scarlet Oyster'

We have one crew vacancy left aboard Scarlet Oyster – a very successful, UK based racing yacht. She is an Oyster Lightwave 48 and has been recently refurbished to optimise her racing rating and is fully equipped with top racing sails. She most recently won the ARC crossing.

Our skipper Tim Thubron is also highly accomplished – and won the St Maarten regatta in class in 2011. He is an excellent skipper, incredibly knowledgeable and with a non-shouty coaching approach.

We will be sailing with a crew of 11 + skipper and first mate. Each crew member will have a fully active role as our ethos is about involvement, training and progression (and getting great results seems to be a fortunate by-product!).

Experienced 29 Y/O Looking for Active Crew Position

Hey All! I'm a 29 y/o 5'11" 140lb  active young guy looking for a crew position for the regatta. I have been sailing keel boats and dinghy's since I was 8 and am passionate about racing. I strive to earn silver at the end of the day, but a good time had by all is always a necessary requirement. Remember, racing sailboats is a team sport (well most of the time)! I currently run my own yacht management and research company overseeing several boats in the northeast. I will be in SXM from 13 February until 7 March working for a client whose vessel is currently located in Simpson Bay. I have my own accommodations and travel arranged. Hopefully we won't brake anything while on the race course, but if we do I'll be on board to fix it!
