As a group of sailing friends we have chartered a beautiful yacht (Swan 51) for the Heineken Regatta 2009. Not all of us could make it this year and we are looking for some more crew members to make up the numbers and contribute to the finances.

I have never been involved in this Regatta and would love to do so. I can assist with finances if needed. Will be in St. Maarten on a business trip that week and will stay for the regatta! I have my flight and accomodation booked...Have a lot of experience sailing in the USA, mostly J boats and Beneteaus in Newport, Great Lakes & Florida...This will be my second Heineken Regatta.
Based in Miami, but I know St. Maarten very well and can help with Logistics thru friends and contacts in the island

I have already booked my room and have an airline reservation to arrive on Monday Mar. 2 (can be changed). Please let me know what info you would like and/or call me. I'm located in Laguna Beach, CA. I am also a professional underwater photographer and can shoot the crew in action (and give everyone a cd!). Hope to hear from you..
