Looking for crew or a boat ?

My name is Jack Gordon and I am contacting you to offer my services as racing or delivery crew.

Sailing is my passion. I am very
fortunate to have the ability, time and flexibility to
pursue this interest at the relatively young age of 48. I have been
sailing for
over 35 years.  I hold a USCG Master Captain License with Towing and
Sailing certifications. I am fit, in excellent health (5’9” / 160 lbs.)
and have a friendly and pleasant personality. I have sailed
extensively throughout the Virgin Islands, West Indies, Grenadines,
Abacos, Great Lakes and the ICW. During the winters I spend a few weeks delivering new sailboats for St Barts Yachts from the East Coast to the Caribbean.  In
addition, I have made several private deliveries of both sail and power yachts
throughout the Great Lakes, East Coast, Caribbean and Central

I am an experienced racer, having raced all forms of dinghys, skiffs, windsurfers, 1 designs, offshore yachts all over the world at a national and international level; I have spent several years racing in NZ teams. I have also done a large amount of team and match racing, along with fleet racing.I work extremely hard, and I am always keen to improve and learn! I am very easy going, get along with everyone and am happy in any position on a boat. However the majority of my experience is in helming, main, trimming, tacticsTravelling is not an issue for me, as I am willing to fly anywhere to race.I hold current STCW 95 certification, full first aid, and I am a qualified race coach.

I would also be able to help deliver yachts to and from the regatta.

I am 23 years old, and weight approx 64kg.

British ex pat living between Florida and the Virgin Islands. I will be on ST John from March 11th to April 10th 2009 and will be available as crew for both US and British VI regattas.

Crewed in Santa Cruz, CA races and bareboated around BVI on 36 - 40 Catalina & Beneteau monohulls.

Certication Includes USCG Licensed Captain OUPV, STCW95, First Aid, CPR & AED, Naui Scuba Diver, 210lbs wet...

Very experienced in rigging, wooden ship construction, some
fibreglass, some mechanical, very hard working,  very safety oriented,
very adaptable to the situation at hand. Marine firefighting course,
several first aid courses, Marine survival courses, zodiac driver. I
don't get sea sick and heights are not an issue. I can even cook, do
dishes, and mix a mighty fine rum drink.

Canadian, 21 years old, 185 lbs, 5'11", don't worry I'm not your
average 21 year old I'm really very dependable and hard working.

Does anybody need a professional hand? Based in the BVi's, plese let me know.

 I'm an experience Bowman looking to sail the rolex regatta.  I've done serious sailing in farr 40s for several years and also have experience on everything from j105s to 1d35s and Benetau 36.7s.  

Two experienced sailors from Annapolis, one male and one female, would love to work as your crew during the Rolex Regatta. We can arrive a few days early for practice.
