About me: Life long small boat sailor, started sailing/crewing bigger boats up to 72 ft in the last 6 yrs. I have raced for the past 3 and a half years on a West Coast Championship crew of a J29 named Cherry Bomb, skippered by Steve Aichele. I do pitt, foreguy, pick up the course and chart it from committee boat, put positions into portable GPS, read and understand SI. Stepped up to the Farr 30, Lunch Money, in the last two years, we won Mid Winters 2010, participated in Ahmanson Cup, Cal Race Week and will soon be hiking it out in the home game of Long Beach Race Week hoping to gain ground on the F30 fleet for the West Coast Championship. I continue to hone skills in pit, grind for spin trimmer, inventory and track sails, back up the skipper on the SI's, courses, marks, being the core of our 6 man crew. I'm also a gourmet cook with galley experience on several deliveries..
