About me: I will be relocating to Haiti in May to continue my work in the Port-au-Prince community. My biggest projects at the time are developing the administration and disaster response procedures of the Boy Scouts of Haiti and attracting a professional baseball team to bring a baseball academy to Port-au-Prince. I am looking for work on a boat departing from the U.S at the end of May that could get me somewhere near Haiti.
I am a 22 year old construction science major from Texas A&M. I am well traveled with 5 months of disaster relief volunteer experience in Peru and Haiti, and over a year of cumulative international travel experience. I don't have sailing experience, but I have many other skills to offer. I am a fast learner, mechanically inclined, in good physical condition, good with my hands, and speak conversational Spanish.
I am trying to work my way into the fields of international development and disaster response. Learning some basic mariner skills would be an asset in my career because it would improve my ability to reach areas around the world in need of assistance. I am ready to learn, and looking for an adventure.
